A walk on the wild side.

6th February 2017

It was a nice cold wintery morning walking along the southern aspects of Liathach via the well worn path along the Coire Dubh Mor where one is truly in the heart of some of Scotland’s most spectacular mountain landscapes. There were some short periods of sun shine but on the northern side of the mountain it seemed to be a very different world with cooling winds and lots of spindrift blowing around. South – Easterly  winter winds in this area usually bring cooler temperatures and dryer periods.
