A monochrome day in Torridon

15th January 2015

This morning, I left one part of God’s own country for another, arriving in Glen Torridon to a wintery scene, but surprised to see how little new snow there is compared to the hills further inland such as in the Fannichs and Beinn Dearg. With high temperatures in the afternoon and heavy rain showers the snow on the lower slopes is disappearing fast. I look forward to falling temperatures tonight and cold tomorrow with frequent snow showers.
