Wet and Windy

25th January 2024

A grim day in Torridon. Gale force Southerly winds. Wet, rain at all levels. Diminishing snowpack.
Tomorrow will see some new snow. Amount expected to fall is difficult to forecast. If the anticipated 5 to 10 centimetres turns out to be “the chance of 20” unstable accumulations of wind slab will develop in sheltered locations. See forecast for details.
