Another day of light showers
6th January 2024
It was another day with passing light showers which fell as snow above around 800m. There is a thin cover of new snow above around 800m, with some localised deposits of windslab mainly on NE-E-S aspects above 850m. The patchy older snowpack, which lies mainly on SW through W to N aspects above 800 metres, is generally stable and its surface starting to re-freeze.
Little change is expected in the snowpack tomorrow.
