Snow
22nd December 2023
Fresh snow was falling above 550m for most of the day today. The hills are looking much whiter than they did yesterday. The snow was accompanied by very strong West-North-Westerly winds. While the cover is thin in many places some deeper accumulations are starting to build. More snow is forecast overnight before a sudden change to rain tomorrow morning. More details in the avalanche hazard report here. https://www.sais.gov.uk/torridon/
