Stunning Day
7th April 2023
Today was a stunning day in Torridon. Blues skies and light winds showed some of the Torridon mountains at their best, apart from a bit of snow you couldn’t have asked for more. Todays observation point was Beinn an Eoin a Corbett accessed from near Loch Maree. The pictures show the views in all directions from on or near the summit.

Fisherfield Mountains on the left, Slioch in the middle and the Fannichs with a dusting of snow on the right. This snow soon melted in the warm sunny conditions this afternoon.

A closer view of the Fisherfield Mountains also with a very thin dusting of fresh snow. This had mostly gone by the time they disappeared from view on my descent.
