Blustery scattered showers.

28th February 2022

Strong winds again with rain showers. A moist day on the hill but nice enough walking to be had in the glen. Our snow pack is continuing to thaw although the freezing level is lowering to there may be a firming up in the colder temperatures. There was lots of ice developing on Northern aspects although it will be beginning to thaw by now.

Went up towards Fionn Bheinn this morning, it was clear at first but by mid morning the cloud and rain came in. Creagan nan Laogh is in the foreground.

The view over Achnasheen with the distant hills of Creag Coire a’ Bhuic around to Toll Ghobhain, Coire nam Mang and Moruisg beyond.
