Black and White

18th February 2022

A cold start to the day with slippery paths. Winds were light and visibility was relatively good. The hills are certainly looking more like winter but snow accumulations remain relatively limited.

Below; the view into Coireag Dubh Beag on the left, Coireag Dubh Mor Dubh on the right.

Above; A close view of Coireag Dubh Mor. The car park in the glen was full but no sign of climbers in the coire.

Below; Looking from Glen Torridon up onto Liathach ridge with Pyramid Buttress in the middle, close up next.

Below; Beinn Eighe. Many higher slopes are wind scoured.
