Between Dudley and Eunice

17th February 2022

It’s interesting and challenging on the hill just now. Named storm Dudley is exiting the stage to the East while storm Eunice waits in the wings and its planning to appear with some attitude and gusto. As Eunice tracks East to the North-East of southern Scotland it will extend fronts into our area. We are expecting a showery and cold North to North-West airflow to become established.

Today was nice enough on the hills, occasional brighter periods but winds were strong and higher up trail breaking was hard work.

There is distinct snow line at around 250 metres.

Some large Graupel.
