Dry with some good views

12th December 2021

Today was a colder drier day with some good views giving an opportunity to see how much snow is left after yesterdays thaw. The remaining snow has become firmer and is well bonded and stable, the very patchy snow cover at lower elevations continues to thaw. A further brief thaw will occur again overnight tonight before a return to colder temperatures and some snow showers tomorrow.

A view across Loch Maree to Slioch which still has some snow on its South facing slopes.
