A bright, clear and cold day here, with snow down to the road side. Three avalanches were observed. It has been a wonderful day with some hard trail breaking, feeling cold in the fresh West-North-West winds.

Liathach in the far distance, with signs of wind blown snow.

A ptarmigan snow cave.
