Here we have snow down to the road side and while we did get an occasional bright period this morning they were short lived and its been a wild day on the tops. It felt very cold with the wind chill. Snow cover is much improved with some significant snow transportation which has built some wind slab instabilities onto wind sheltered aspects. Small cornices are beginning to develop. The generally Northerly airstream will maintain colder conditions for a while yet. We will get some snow this evening and tomorrow should be a dryer day. I’m afraid photographic opportunities were missed while I was approaching the hill this morning and by the time I got higher the visibility was very poor.

View down towards Kinlochewe!

And….. the view further up towards the the tops.

Around 9am “ish” there was a bit of a view!
