Some Sunshine at Last.
29th February 2020
Last night there was a bit of a warm spell with the freezing level rising to above summit levels. It had dropped down again by morning, and there were a few snow showers. There remained a fair bit of soft snow around which made for hard going. Â During the afternoon it cleared up some lovely sunny spells.

A climber heading into Coire Dubh Mor. Thanks to the everyone ahead of me who broke trail, it must have been pretty hard work going first.

A closer shot of the ice routes. Although none are visible in this shot I counted six pairs of climbers in the Coire.

On the walk out the skies cleared and there was some pleasant sunshine. Liathach was not looking to shoddy from down by the road.
