Drizzle and Rain

Woke up to rain showers and in general it has been a wet drizzly morning here in Kinlochewe. At first as I walked into Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe I did get a view, but it soon clouded over. The snow pack is much depleted and any snow that may have fallen overnight was impossible to witness. Visibility was very poor when I was on the hill but it seemed to me that the freeing level was high and possibly above the summits. It is Christmas day and the Torridon SAIS team wish you all a happy Christmas and excuse the pun but – there has been a lot of “Rain-dear”!
It cleared up a bit later!
