Ice on the footpaths, ice in the burns and ice forming nicely on the crags! Yet another fine day in Torridon and remaining cold and wintry on the tops. More settled weather forecast but with some weird temperature inversions.
The cold and icy side of Liathach.
Lenticular clouds appeared through the day, indicating strong winds at high level and usually winds strengthen later at lower levels.
Beinn Alligin and Beinn Dearg, with thickening cloud behind.
Ice on the crag! Coire Dubh Mor, Liathach. Spindrift appearing on the ridge as the wind strengthened.
Ice on the path and in the burns!
