Cloudless!

26th January 2017

A beautiful sunny spring-like day with uninterrupted cloudless views. Still mild and feeling warm in the sheltered sun, but cold on the summits in the strong to gale force South-Easterly wind. Mostly bare hillsides.

Remnant patches of snow on Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe.

The north side of Beinn Eighe.

Beinn Dearg and Beinn Alligin on the left, Beinn a’ Chearcaill and Beinn an Eoin on the right.

The northern skyline from Meall a’ Ghiuthais, including left to right; An Teallach, Slioch above Loch Maree, Beinn Dearg, Fannaich mountains, Ben Wyvis, etc, etc – you work them out!
