Busy day for Poacher’s…..
9th March 2016
Overnight snow falling in light winds left several centimetres of fresh snow on most aspects at higher elevations this morning.
Great weather in Torridon and a dozen people climbing in Coireag Dubh Mor.
All 12 on Poacher’s Fall.
With the sun higher in the sky and rising temperatures approaching it is likely that Southerly aspects will begin to lose their cover soon.
A couple of parties headed up the steep path from beside Glen Cottage, clearly visible on the ridge above.
On North East to South aspects there was a lot of surface sloughing evident, some significantly larger than others.
