A Fine Day

25th February 2016

Good snow cover generally, with deep drifts in places. Slow moving heavy snow showers and light winds deposited snow on all aspects overnight. Another good day forecast for tomorrow.

Coire an Laoigh, Beinn Eighe. Good snow cover on East to South aspects. Many single point avalanches on Southerly aspects due to sun radiation. The larger and more obvious avalanche debris in the photos are due to the channelling of multiple smaller slides.
