Snow building on the tops
7th January 2016
As you drive through Glen Torridon is easy enough to think that there is no snow. It’s true of course that there is less than is often the case. But high on some summits obscured by the cloud and in the higher corries snow is building. It is this melt freeze cycle which develops the world renowned Scottish Ice which climbers from around the globe come to climb… Well, it seems to be building, slowly but surely!
Looking West – along Abhainn Coire Mhic Nobuil ( Coire Mhic Nobuil), there is snow on the higher summits!
