By lunchtime, it all cleared from the north, but the higher summits remained in a cloud cap till later in the afternoon. High windchill, so we suffered for you at the profile site, or was it that we were inappropriately dressed? Good snow cover at higher levels, but soft enough to break through to the rocks below.
