A Day of Contrasting Moods

14th January 2016

Moody weather with sunshine and showers. Spirits lifted in the sun only to be dashed as the next face stinging graupel shower pushed through. Cold with crisp views early on. Plenty spindrift but vivid blue skies in between. Disturbed a flock of Ptarmigan in the corrie and a Mountain Hare galloped off uphill.

Most snow as usual on the east end of Beinn Eighe, Creag Dubh
