Another lovely Torridon day

2nd March 2022

Another blue sky day! A cold start with frost to sea level. Light winds in the morning had picked up significantly by midday.

Below, Two walkers high in Coire an Laoigh on Beinn Eighe. By 11.00am the sun was starting to soften the snow but shaded slopes remained very firm.

Below, looking from about 450 metres in Coire an Laoigh on to the South facing slopes of Sgurr Ban. Despite the strong sun the melt today was minimal.
