A blustery day.

23rd March 2022

Strong South-South-West winds made it feel quite blustery on the tops today. The snow pack remains well bonded but it’s much softer on most aspects, with firmer areas  of snow at higher altitudes on shaded and steeper North aspects. Some of the higher shaded ridge paths have icy stretches.

I met lots of people out walking, many commenting about the wind but appreciating the good views and dry weather.

Looking over Stuc Coire an Laoigh down to the lochs.

View over towards Sgurr Ban and Sgurr nan Fhir Duibhe.

Liathach from Spidean Coire nan Clach

Liathach again!
