Another mild and frost free day here in Kinlochewe. The snow pack continues to deplete although the freezing level is dropping back down to summit levels tonight, then lowering to 900 meters. We can expects some moderate hill snow showers and as there are strong to gale strength winds wind slab will begin to accumulate on high wind sheltered terrain. Around 800 metres and above we should see some firming of the older snow pack but below these levels the snow will remain wet.

Liathach – a bit blacker today.

In Coire an Laoigh (Beinn Eighe) there is good snow cover, the snow pack is soft and wet .
