Squally wintry showers

10th February 2020

A nicer day than forecasted today – we even got some views.  Lots of blowing spindrift and some brutal graupel showers to contend with.  Lots of superficial low level snow but deeper accumulations once height was gained.  Ice starting to build rapidly in the cold temperatures.

Morning sun on Liathach.

Heading into Coire an Laoigh on Beinn Eighe.

Wind scoured slopes looking towards the Black Carls of Sgurr nan Fhir Duibhe.

Snow level down to 300m on Creag Dhubh, east end of Beinn Eighe.
