Mild weather continues

24th February 2019

It has been a dry and clear day here with unseasonal warm temperatures but at higher levels on the hill, especially on wind exposed terrain it felt cold enough. The remain snow patches are firm and generally well bonded. There are loose stones and rocks around which remain a potential hazard. But in general it is really wonderful travel conditions and there were many walkers seen out and about in the hills today.

Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe with only patches of snow remaining.

Much of the terrain is clear of snow.

Only isolated patches of snow remain.
