Brighter

3rd February 2016

Quite a snowy picture after the storm of yesterday and great to feel the warmth of the sun albeit for a brief period. Although the scene is wintry, the snowpack is mostly shallow with localised areas of any depth and scoured higher up. Most snow is at mid levels, where we wished we had skis.

Will the Famous Mountaineer’s identity ever be revealed to his burgeoning and adoring on-line followers?
I believe him to be the Brahan Seer of all things snow and avalanche.
Please put us out of our misery!
