Thick Blanket of Fresh Snow

29th January 2015

Arrived in Torridon to a xmas card snow scene. Fresh snow fell yesterday and overnight in light winds with snow to sea level. After the thaw of the start of the week, there are still areas of old snow visible and the ice high up has hung in there. More snow forecast overnight and tomorrow on strengthening NW winds.

With 20cm forecast in next 24hrs, we wished we'd brought our skis!
