Snow Melt

It was a day of persistent rain and drizzle at all levels and widespread hill fog. So, photos are not great! There is extensive snow loss with the more recent snow cover melting altogether. Much colder tomorrow and there is a Met Office yellow warning for snow in the North-West.(Above) As good as it got! A fleeting view of Sgurr Breac and A’Chailleach in the Fannaich mountains. Only lingering patches of old snow remain generally on North to East aspects with the lowest snow patch around 650m.(Above) A more typical view of the hills today.
