Significant snow overnight with further heavy showers and drifting through the day today. Progress was hard work anywhere there were deeper drifts.

Drifting will continue overnight Sunday with windslab becoming more extensive. The temperature will gradually rise through the day on Monday providing some consolidation, mostly during the afternoon. Wet snow instabilities also possible on slopes exposed to the strong sun.

 

Sgurr nan Fhir Duibhe, Beinn Eighe

 

Looking into Coire an Laoigh, Spidean Coire nan Clach, Beinn Eighe. Significant deposits on the East facing slopes which became more widespread through the day.

 

Sgurr na Lochain Uaine with Beinn Liath Mor behind. Significant drifting off the summit of Sgurr na Lochain Uaine.
