Golden Eagles

Yes, the highlight for today was watching a pair of Eagles slope soaring across a hillside just above me. No, I didn’t take a photo, I’d rather just appreciate the moment.
Otherwise, no change to the sparse and patchy snowpack. There was a significant strengthening of the wind and noticeable rise in air temperature during the short time I was out on the hill today. A day of wintry showers tomorrow with Westerly gales easing overnight. At least it will look and feel more wintry tomorrow.
(Above) The Northern Fannaich mountains. Patchy drizzle and summit cloud this morning ahead of more organised rain and Westerly gales by midday.
(Above) Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich with its North Top at around 850m in the foreground. Pretty representative of the current snow distribution…..! Or lack of it.
A snow sliver at 650m on an Easterly aspect. Is this the lowest patch of snow remaining in the NW?
