High Pressure Conditions

High pressure continues to dominate our weather and has a subsequent effect on what remains of the snowpack. The snow cover is patchy, slowly thawing at all levels, most of which is largely avoidable. Little snow remains below 700 metres. Similar weather and snow conditions expected tomorrow.

Above; A snow free landscape! Slioch on the left and looking to the Fannaich mountains beyond. Summit cloud lingered at around 850m for most of the morning, only breaking and lifting in the afternoon.
