A grey picture.

19th March 2019

Its been a grey day here although by mid morning there were some brighter periods in the glen. On the hill the snow pack is depleting and consolidating, the snow level is about 450 metres and the snow is very wet. The burns and streams are full of melt water. The milder South-Westerly airstream is set to continue although the freezing level is lowering tonight to around 1000-1200 metres but rising again tomorrow. We can expect a continued depletion of the snow pack.

Even the Ptarmigans looked a bit damp today!

Burns are full.

My best view of Liathach.
