All change.
20th February 2026
The wet and windy weather today marks a change from the colder weather we have been having in recent weeks. It was a good day to test the waterproofs.
There is always a little bit of crystal ball gazing when this happens in Winter, to try and see how long it will last, and when will colder weather return. There are some indications that it will be milder for a few days, with the peak temperatures coming midweek. It may then hopefully turn colder again towards the end of the week.
The snowpack here in the Torridon forecast area is now thawing and consolidating, and we will see some snow loss over the coming days.
