Fine Weather on Fionn Bheinn
23rd December 2025
High pressure is dominating our weather pattern at the moment bringing dry and settled weather to the Torridon forecast area. There was a weak temperature inversion this morning: temperatures in the glens reading as low as +2 degrees, whilst the summits were basking in a barmy +4 degrees. This trend is set to continue over the Christmas period.
There is insufficient snow to provide an avalanche hazard report, but small amounts of snow still remain. Predominately on very high North and East facing corrie rims.
The photos below give a good indication of current mountain conditions in the area.

A close up shot of the rim of the corrie. Very little snow is holding on, but what remains is actually pretty firm.
