End of 2025/26 forecasting season

6th April 2026

A dry day with increasing temperatures to end the 2025/26 forecasting season. The freezing level is due to rise to around 2500 metres on Tuesday giving summit temperatures of around 9 degrees Celsius. There will be a rapid thaw of the snowpack over the next few days. Forecasting in Torridon will start again in December 2026. Thanks for reading this season.
