Winter Blues

30th January 2025

After a period of cloud and poor visibility blue skies and a crisp winters day was very welcome.

A chance to view the snow distribution and the good snow cover. The snowpack is pretty stable largely due to the fluctuating temperatures. Some windslab accumulations are present  in wind sheltered places when you get higher above 800 metres or so but generally these are limited in distribution and extent.
