Its all about timing.

15th January 2025

It was far wetter this morning than forecast due to the timing (see below). This rain has led to further depletion of the remaining snow patches. Not much change in sight for the Torridon area for the next couple of days with winds remaining Very Strong to Gale Force South-Westerly, and freezing levels well above the summits. We also have some overnight rain tonight, so it will be interesting to see what snow has survived by tomorrow afternoon.
