A big overnight thaw with some rain has changed the snow cover on the Torridon hills significantly. Most of the snow was rapidly heading out to the sea today. What snowpack remains is wet and stable. Largest patches will be found on East to South facing slopes above around 800 metres.

Looking across to Liathach over Upper Loch Torridon.

Beinn na h-Eaglaise 737 metres, just South of Torridon village. The RHS looking up, had snow cover yesterday.

Although not on our patch, the temperature graph from Aonach Mor, near Ben Nevis showing the rapid temperature rise above the summits yesterday evening.

Where all the snow is!

Bealach na Ba road still closed today, but I suspect it has little if any snow left on it.
North top of Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich – 830m. Most snow remains around the coire rim on a NE aspect
Beinn Liath Bheag at 665m – very little snow remaining.
