Still mild

21st February 2024

There was a trace of fresh snow on the higher hills this morning but the temperature rose through the morning and rain soon caused this to melt. The temperature then dropped in the afternoon but it remained mainly dry. The next few days are forecast to be colder with more snow so hopefully we can get a return to winter conditions.

Todays temperatures on Sgurr a’ Chaorachain (773m). The gradual rise through the morning and then sudden drop in temperature at 13:00 stand out.
