A walk in the rain

15th February 2024

It was a wet day with light winds and low cloud obscuring most of the mountains. The snowpack has become wet in all locations with wet snow instabilities particularly where the more recent snow overlies the firmer older snowpack.

A few photos below showing what could be seen of the snow conditions.

Sgurr Dubh (782m) was the highest hill where I could see the summit today.
