Blustery Wintry Showers

Although there was only a dusting of new snow, it felt very wintry on the hills today, especially during the showers and in the strong NW wind. The older snow patches are refrozen as the freezing level lowered during the day and will be very firm at higher elevations. The new snow is mostly lying on bare ground.
