The quieter side of Torridon

19th December 2021

It was much cooler in the lower glens today and there was verglas to be negotiated.  A beautiful day once again in the NW Highlands.

Slioch (980m) in the early morning light.

Small lochans starting to freeze up.  This one is at 500m.  Beinn an Eoin (855m) behind.

The sun was in a rather annoying position today.  The Triple Buttress of Coire Mhic Fhearchair on Beinn Eighe not very obvious.

Slioch and the Fannichs behind.  More inversions.
