(Above) Looking up Breabaig glen to the bealach (at 550m) between Sgurr nan Clach Geala on the left and Sgurr Breac on the right.

Poor visibility today, cloud base generally around 700m. with light rain, sleet and snow which is settling above 700m. It was windy this morning with strong to gale force Southerlies. The snowpack is patchy below 700m and broken at higher elevations where it is refrozen, firm and icy on some exposed terrain around some summits. Yesterday’s new snow accumulations are very localised, shallow and thawing in most locations.
