Fannaichs

Limited snow cover in the Fannaichs today, but what remains is firm and well consolidated. Lowest snow patches around 650m. with most snow mainly on summit slopes, ridge flanks and around coire rims. After a bright start this morning, thickening cloud introduced some light precipitation with snow flurries, initially above 600m. rising later as it warmed.

Looking up the shoulder of Druim Reidh onto Toman Coinnich, with Sgurr Breac on the left and A’ Chailleach on the right.

Slioch on the left, Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair and Sgurr Ban on the right. Loch a’ Bhraoin and Lochivraon bothy in the fore.

Nice light over the Beinn Dearg hills first thing this morning, from Ullapool.
