Cloudier

3rd January 2019

After such a great day yesterday it felt a bit overcast and dark in the glen today. Around Kinlochewe the dusting of snow on the summits has all but thawed away although the freezing level is hovering around the summits. Inland, (by that I mean a bit further away from the sea coast) there is still a dusting of snow on the higher summits and some patchy generally frozen and stable snow remains. There will be some light snow flurries tonight, perhaps giving us trace of snow on the higher summits, although snow amounts are rather small.

Such a contrast from yesterday, cloudy snow-less summits.

Beinn Eighe was just as overcast!
