Warm Wet Windy

26th December 2018

A dark, dark morning in Torridon! Persistent low cloud, light rain and drizzle and a fresh to strong South-Westerly. Continuing very mild (11C in Kinlochewe) but a bit brighter in the afternoon. A thawing and wet snowpack reduced to isolated patches around the highest summits.

Liathch and Beinn Eighe from the glen.

Looking down the glen from just under the cloud base at around 350m!

Loch Clair and Coulin Forest to the south.

Looking into Coire an Laoigh, Beinn Eighe. Kind of says it all….!
