A showery morning, nicer later.

28th December 2018

The snow pack has depleted even more with only a few very high and rather sporadic patches of older snow remianing. It rained quite a bit this morning enough to moisten the clothing and it felt cold in the strong westerly winds when walking on higher exposed ridges. By eleven o’clock the showers died out and it became nicer.

Later in the day as I walked out the mist cleared away. There were some nice bright periods.

This lady came from Orkney to enjoy the Torridon hills, I was pleased the day brightened up for her.
