Vanishing Snowpack
25th February 2017
As expected, the shallow and superficial snow cover thawed overnight in the very mild temperatures and heavy rain. The remaining snowpack is very patchy. Seems like it’s back to square one! The burns and rivers are up and there was considerable amounts of debris from rollerballs and evidence of recent rockfall in Coire an Laoigh, Beinn Eighe.

Apologies, I am unable to upload any more photos. Hopefully better luck tomorrow!
