Has spring sprung?

14th February 2017

A very spring like day in the North – West, Skye recording a lunchtime temperature of 14 degrees!! Fantastic visibility as this shot of Liathach from the west shows.

The steady thaw especially on the sunnier slopes was perhaps the end for these ice formations in Coire Liath Mhor.

    Stunning photos!

    The trees are green,
    The sky is blue,
    Snow is scarce,
    What are we to do?

I’ll reply Shona, even if he wont.
      The trees are green
      The sky is grey
      Snow is going
      Well you don’t say!
